After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Organizational Studies, Megan moved to Philadelphia to teach middle school social studies. Her experience in the classroom led her to work on the Bicycle Coalition’s Safe Routes Philly program. Megan has managed the coalition’s youth and adult education programs since 2013 and in her role as Deputy Director has expanded her focus to the coalition’s advocacy initiatives.
In 2015, Megan was namedone of 55 “Connectors and Keepers” by Leadership Philadelphia and highlighted on Billy Penn's "Who's Next" list of education leaders; she was chosen as a Difference Maker by the South Philadelphia Review in 2013. In August 2015 she received her certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice, which she is using to innovate and hone strategy in her current role.
